Organizer's Conference &
Winter Rendezvous a success!

Abotu 250 people attended this year's winter rendezvous at the JW Corbett Wildlife Management Area in Palm Beach County, Florida. A strong focus of the gathering was movement building: how to renew a direct action culture that reaches more people and how to stay strongly connected as a community within Earth First! We analyzed the strategies of our most prominent campaigns, connected with urban activists from Miami and indigenous activists from all over the Americas, discussed how to proceed in the light of government repression, and talked about how to support those activists targeted by the Green Scare. Much of Sunday was dedicated to direct action training and planning for Monday's post-rendezvous action.
